I only had a small carry-on, so I didn’t bother dealing with a luggage tag. As you can see by the instructions above, you can actually walk off earlier if you don’t have them bring your luggage to the terminal.
I did get a box of cereal from the buffet and took a few last photos from the back of the ship before lugging my luggage off the ship.

It was pretty quick to get off the ship. They were still selling transfers to the airport, but I would have to wait 30 minutes, so I just ordered an Uber, and it was actually cheaper as well. In fact I got to the airport early enough to switch to the earlier flight.
Getting through airport security was painless and fast; of course, the gates for United required a long walk.

I originally picked seat 14F, but noticed the row was full so I switched to 14A to have an empty seat next to me… I actually made the change after boarding…. sneaky I know.

The flight did have the seatback screens, which can be nice when they do work with your bluetooth ear buds.
The plane took the shortcut over the Gulf of America.

Again, another unremarkable flight. I managed to get my luggage, take the parking shuttle to my car, and leave the parking lot at around 11:30 AM.
