After yesterday, I was hoping for some better weather. It certainly looks like it will be better.
I started my day with breakfast at Cabanas. I didn’t eat much, but I did get the Mickey Mouse waffles with strawberry compote, whipped cream, and warm maple syrup..
After breakfast, I went to training for a few hours at Rapunzel‘s Royal Table. I took a few photos since the lighting was much better during the day.
More free stuff… A Disney Cruise Line bag, notebook, luggage tag and tumbler.
Just before lunch, I was able to tour a few different state rooms. The first one I went to was an inside cabin, which was significantly larger than most inside cabins. This cabin also had the privacy curtain around the bed.
There are also guest washers and dryers (extra to use, but much cheaper than dry cleaning)
One verandah cabin had the sofa bed made and the upper berth down as well.The cabin steward arranges this daily, so it’s not necessary for guests to do so. During the day, you have the extra space and the sofa with the beds stowed.
Finally, a family deluxe balcony, which had a total of five berths. One that actually is a Murphy bed that folds down from the wall, in addition to a bunk that comes down from the ceiling, and the sofa bed that turnss into a bed in the evening .

For lunch I wondered about a little bit and found that the Duck in Diner they had a Philly cheesesteak. Well I can’t pass up on a Philly Cheesesteak, so I had a Philly cheesesteak and some French fries for lunch.
They had already added some curtians around the pool deck for the Marvel Day At Sea.
The weather was still nice.
Shortly thereafter, I went into Cabanas and checked out what they had to offer for lunch. I decided to try a few other items that you don;t see often on a cruise ship… Asian duck with hoisin sauce. They also had jerk pork, which was quite good as well as some rice and beans, but I didn’t go overboard because I know that dinner will be very good.
I spent probably a few too many hours in the hot tub in the afternoon. The weather was still a little iffy, but it was warm enough to enjoy the hot tub with a view of the ocean. When I say the weather is iffy I mean it was nice. It was dry, but you still had some threatening clouds around you when you obviously prefer to have a nice blue sky with white puffy clouds.
After my soak in the hot tub, I went to my room to get cleaned up and decided to go back down to deck four to catch the sunset.
Unfortunately, the sunset was a little short-lived and was obscured a little bit by the clouds, but you really can’t complain about seeing a sunset on the ocean.

Being that it was magic hour I took a photo of the funnel.
I checked out the meu at Palo. It’s the adult-only specialty restaraunt. I heard good things from the others that ate there.
Since it was Marvel Day At Sea my fancy towel on my bed today was Thor’s hammer. Earlier in the day they made a funny annoucement paging Thor saying his hammer was at the concierge, but no one was strong enough to pick it up.
After that, I decided to wander around the gift shops when they were calm. Immediately after the show in the theater is not the time to shop….
Even though it was dark, I spent some time relaxing on deck four in a very nice lounge chair, enjoying the sound of the ocean and the fresh sea breeze.
I didn’t go to the theater tonight. The description was just Avengers, so I wasn’t sure if it was the movie or something else.
Dinner was at Animator‘s Palate yet again at 8:15. Tonight they had a Marvel design on the screens, so the show was not repeated from last night even though we repeated the location.
The menu looked like a Marvel comic book. It was really cool.
They had special marbled bread that looked a bit like a spider web (from Spider Man).
For my starter I tried the Wakandan Piri Piri
For my main I chose the Rosemary Roasted Beef Tenderloin. It was very good.
For dessert I tried the Awesome Mixed Sundae (obviously a reference to Guardians of the Galaxy) because Rocky Road is one of my favorite ice cream flavors.
After dinner at 10 PM they were having the main Marvel Day at Sea performance on the pool deck.
They had many Marvel characters perform and some zip lined between the funnels and some repelled down from them.
And of course they had fireworks…
After the show I went down to the pub to take advantage of the $18 beer mug.
$18 might sound like a lot for a beer mug, but that’s reasonable for any Disney souvenier. The brilliance of this mug is that when you buy a beer you get 23 ounces of beer for the price of 16 ounces. The beers are only $7.50-$8 each, but one beer a day more or less makes the mug free.
The best part is the little card. When you finish the beer you can trade the mug for the card and when you want a new beer in a different bar you give them the card and you get a new, clean mug. At the end of the cruise you simply get a new, clean mug to take home with you.
While I was sitting in the pub with one of the other travelers a group of Ravengers walked by… we were a bit surprised byt he elaborate costumes. Then a few others came by and told us to come over to the Fathoms club as they were having a party.
This Ravenger went around to all the guests and gave them a hard time… It was comical.
The description in the app only said “Ravenger’s Club” with no details. We figured out they had a skit with the Ravengers, Quill and Gamora.It was really good, I was glad I didn’t miss it.
I went to the Piano bar for a while to relax and enjoy the music.
Finally when I returned to the room I placed an order for room service. I was in the mood for chicken wings… and the wings were good. I was also told by one of the others that the Mickey ice cream bars are a secret menu item, so I ordered one of those as well, but two arrived.
Tomorrow is another early day as I have plans at 8 AM to meet the Avengers.
