After a day of adventure onshore, it was time to relax once again with another sea day.

Breakfast isn’t really my thing, so I started with a stop in the buffet for lunch. More Pappadam, and a little sity-fry pork and rice.

I went up to the bridge observation lounge. They have a bunch of plaques from their first visit to many different ports.

They don’t let you actually take photos of the officers, so I made sure to be just outside the room for that photo. You can also see the navigation charts – live.

At least I think it is interesting that you can see which ships are heading in which direction and how far away they are.
I saw one ship was not too far behind us, so I rushed back to the aft to get a picture of it.

I mostly enjoyed being outside watching the ocean; however, I did relax and float in the pool for a bit. It was nice to be able to enjoy the pool for a change because most of the exotic cruises I go on are a bit off-season.
I happened to come back outside just in time for the sunset, and it was spectacular. I wish I had my good camera with me, but I managed some nice shots with my phone.

Taking advantage of the magic hour lighting I got a picture of the side of the ship.

And an attempt at a long exposre shot of the wake…

I chose to eat dinner at Moderno, their Brazilian Churrascurria.

I started with some sushi and ham they called proscuitto, but wasn’t. The grilled cheese was not great, nor were the olives. Not a great start for sure.

The sides… Brazilian cheese bread, fried yucca and black beans.

Normally I love the picanha, but it was pretty miserable today with no fat on it.

Luckily this specialty dinner was free due to my platinum status, otherwise I would not be very happy with the quality of the beef.
For dessert, Flan.

While I was finishing dinner, there was a cloud burst which soaked the poor musicians on the pool deck (I could see them from the restaurant. They rushed to try and cover the instruments, but the rain was really sudden.
When I got back to my room I found a surprise bottle of wine… Not entirely sure why, but I won’t complain about that.

I went to the theater to listen to one of the bands… definitely not my type of music…

I decided to make it an early night so I could get up early tomorrow to get my flight.
