The start of a very long day.
The final leg of my flight is on JAL, which means I am not able to be upgraded, so I’m flying economy. At least I have an aisle seat and a good neck pillow.

They have us a pastry after taking off. I ate it later and it was good. It was like a cinnamon roll without the cinnamon and icing.

I did manage to sleep 4 hours, then watched most of a movie… The plane arrived 30 minutes early.

I’m staying with a friend in Singapore I met in 2014 when I took another cruise.
For lunch we went to the food court at the Changi Jewel (mall at the airport). I had pork with Singapore noodles, which my friend told me there is no such thing as Singapore noodles, but it did taste good.

Unfortunately the waterfall at the Changi Jewel was off for maintenance… Which was the entire reason for visiting.

I then took the MRT to Raffles Place to take pictures of the Merlion and Marina Bay Sands.

I found the bridge between the Marina Bay Sands and Gardens By the Bay. I was to go up the the SuperTrees, but they were closed because of weather…. Then it rained, luckily I had shelter.

For dinner we went to a local place. The food was different, but good. Ultraman chicken, coffee pork, and I forget all the other things.

After dinner it started raining badly, so I gave up on seeing the light show at Marina Bay Sands and headed back to go through some photos and update the blog. Tomorrow I will get on the ship.
