Before the bus departed I walked from the hotel to the river to take a few pictures. Because we were on the north side of the river the sun was creating too much haze to take any great photos. I did get a few nice photos of the hotel in Wuhan.

Picture below is of a train that was in the park across from the hotel.

The bus departed for Jingzhou at 08:00. It was lunch time when we arrived in Jingzhou. After lunch we went to the city wall and the Jingzhou city museum. The wall was very impressive.
Below picture is from on top of the city wall looking towards the gate.
Below pictures are of the gate of the wall from the outer gate.
Below pictures are of a statue of one of the ancient rulers near the city wall who drowned himself in the river and his drowning started the Dragon boat racing…. A bit more of the story to it…
We boarded the ship around 16:00. It is a nice ship that is government owned…. My cabin in the ship is a comfortable size. I’ve been on ocean cruise ships with much smaller rooms. The balcony is also a nice feature. The bed is much firmer than I prefer…
Below picture is of my cabin.
