Unfortunately it’s time to disembark. The cruise was great with the exception of one tour.
I dragged my bags for 20 minutes to the Sheraton.
I walked back to the Queens wharf to find the tour guide.
The tour visited many of the places I already had seen already walking to the tour.
After the walking tour I tried the green mussels, but didn’t care for the texture.
After lunch I got my room. The hotel is very new, some of it still isn’t open.
I walked in a circle to see the other points of interest in Auckland. Along the way I spotted a place with a $10 scotch fillet (ribeye) when you buy a drink.
The $10 steak was very good.
After dinner I hit a couple of pubs, including one that was a kiwi shoe polish factory (Bluestone Room).
