The museums in Rio don’t open until noon, and I’ve seen a lot of Rio already. I walked to the bonde station (???? trolley) near the Petrobras HQ to visit Santa Teresa neighborhood in the morning. I took the trolley back, visited Paço Imperial (Imperial Palace) and the Naval museum.
No sailaway video today…. It started to rain and I went for cover. I had the GoPro tied off, but it wasn’t there after the rain. I’m hoping to find out at lost and found…
Tomorrow is Buzios… (Brazil)
Above is a short video showing the rain, and the GoPro dropping…. luckily not into the sea.
Above picture of street art in Santa Teresa. I thought the painting of the staircase as a dragon was quite imaginative.
Above picture from the trolley on top of the aquaduct. The pyramid shaped building is Saint Sebastian church and on the right the Jenga styled building is the Petrobras HQ building.
Above picture of the NCL Sun docked in Rio de Janeiro. The port was within walking distance of Cinelandia area and the VLT (light rail) passes right in front of the cruise terminal.
