Started the day at the Notre Dame Cathedral… Got there early enough to avoid any queue.
After visiting inside the queue for the bell tower was massive and it had not yet opened so I went to Sainte-Chapelle. Again no queue, but there was a significant one when I left. This was much more ornate than the Notre Dame Cathedral. Don’t miss this when you visit Paris.
From there I visited the Concierge… apparently Marie Antoinette was jailed there.
From there took the metro to the Basilica Sacre Cœur. No photographs were allowed inside and I was too impatient to wait in the queue for the cable car (world’s smallest cable car), so took the stairs.
From there I headed to the Luxembourg gardens, saw many locals playing bocce.
Finally wound up at St Sulpice church before heading out for night photography…
