This morning we arrived in Speyer, Germany. We took a bus to Heidelberg, Germany.
The first stop we made after the journey was to the castle in the middle of the hill. It was an impressive building. There was a wine barrel that held 58,000 gallons of wine in the wine cellar.
After visiting the castle we had a short walking tour of the city below and an hour of free time to explore.
We departed Heidelberg at noon and met the ship at 12:40 in Mannheim. I quickly mounted my GoPro and started a time lapse video.
We arrived in Rhudesheim around 6:45 PM and had dinner on the ship at 6:30. Tonight I had a veal steak which was quite good.
In the evening the cruise director took us around the town. There was even a hotel where you could sleep in a wine barrel.
We found a shop that was still open and got some chocolate candy filled with brandy.
