Today I had organized a tour of Cinque Terre. It was a private tour in an 8 passenger minivan. We left the ship at 0745 and the guide drove us past La Spezia to Manarola. The town was beautiful and empty. We explored a little while the guide got us ferry tickets.
We then took the ferry to Vernazza. We had some free time to explore, I went up to a castle and in the medieval church.
We then took the ferry to the largest town – Monterosso. I hiked up to the monastery and cemetery in hopes of getting a good picture, however there were no good views.
We then took the train to Riomagiorre, which is the town furthest south. This was another beautiful town.
We didn’t visit long before we had to take the train back to Manarola to drive back to the port, but we did get to take a few more pictures before leaving.
As we were leaving my phone factory reset itself and I lost all my pictures and videos.
Once back on the ship I took advantage of my beverage package and had dinner in the main dining room.
