This morning I woke up early enough to explore outside before it got too hot. I took the drone to get some more video of Main Street as well as some video of the Nimitz Hotel which is part of the National Museum of the Pacific War.
I also found an interesting house by the Der Stadt Freidhof cemetary, so I flew past that was well.
I went back to the National Museum of the Pacific War to visit the Japanese Garden of Peace. It was a nice, but small area. There was a small Japanese building, a large raked rock area and a nice water feature.

There were a couple of displays available outside the museum, like a torpedo launcher.

I took another short stroll through the Main St. to take a couple more photos.

As the temperature increased I took a short drive to San Marcos (short detour on the way home). I had a delicious BBQ meal at The Orignal Black’s Barbecue.

After enjoying some delicious fatty beef brisket I drove to the center of town where there was a nice square with a county building in the center. Before I could take off a thunderstorm rolled in and I had to wait for it to stop. Eventually I got up in the air and got some photos and videos.

I drove around trying to find one park by the river that was open, but the city literally fenced them all off. I parked near the river and got some video, there were a few kayakers in the river.
Before leaving I also saw a train pass by. It was a long train with a locomotive in the center.
The drive home was mostly uneventful. There was a brief rain storm and a very bright rainbow during part of the drive home.
