After yesterday’s strenuous day of hiking I decided to be a bit more relaxed today. I started out by visiting the Poipu beach for some snorkeling.
Just before arriving to the beach I stopped nearby at the Kāneiolouma village. It’s an interesting ancient village with a few wooden ki`i statues.

Unfortunately I forgot the tripod attachment for my GoPro, so I wasn’t able to connect it to the floating handle and record videos.
The snorkeling was very gentle (helped by a couple of pool noodles I bought before leaving) as the water is protected very well with rocks. There was a large variety of fish, even an eel. There wasn’t much coral left because of all the tourists that step on it, but at least there were fish.
After spending most of the day at the Poipu beach I drove over to Shipwreck beach for a quick visit. There isn’t a shipwreck there any longer, but there is a nice cliff.

After the quick visit to Shipwreck beach I attempted and failed to find a cave and a garden that my tour guide app tried to take me to. I eventually drove on the Spouting Horn park. I took a couple of photos of the blowhole and also flew my drone up for a video of the blowhole with the mountains in the background.

After this is was time for dinner. I decided to try the Kaua`i Beer Company. They had a good variety of choices on the menu. I took the Philly Cheesesteak because it was 50% off today.
