The weather today was less than spectacular. Before leaving I stopped at the “Largest Outdoor Sandcastle in the USA” at the South Padre Island visitor’s center.

As you can see in the pictures it is quite large with a lot of detail, but also has sustained some damage due to the weather (wind, rain).
