There wasn’t too much reason to wake up too early this morning since we had already dropped anchor last night at Yes Bay. However the water was flat like glass and reflective like a mirror. I took a few pictures before breakfast.
our progress so far
Breakfast today was eggs benedict and some of the best bacon 🙂

I chose to kayak this morning, although I was tempted to take the hike they said was the only one that was sort of on a trail, but the trail may not have been maintained. Later I found out it was good not to take the hike as it quickly turned into a bushwack (bushes do the wacking, not you) on a very unmaintained trail.

After kayaking I jumped in the hot tub to relax before lunch.
Lunch was pork belly (delicious), mac and cheese and chicken salad. They gave us descriptions of tomorrow’s activities and signed us up so they could organize the schedule accordingly.

After lunch I had a skiff tour and we immediately went over to see a brown bear. Unfortunately I didn’t bring my big lens with me, otherwise I would have gotten a much better picture, however I could still see a bear in the picture. We watched the bear a while and even saw it go into the water briefly.

After dinner there were whales visible from the ship. I got a picture of a couple of tails, but none of them breached. The markings are different, so there was at least 2 whales I got a picture of.
definitely more than 1 whale
