Today is the final full day on the cruise. It’s a sea day, so it is meant to be relaxing.
My day started with a short training session from Celebrity where they presented information on the Galapagos. It’s on my list of places to go for sure and their newest ship looks amazing.
I took a picture of the area that is used for getting on and off the ship, which is now being used for the art auction. It is much nicer than other ships where the area is not considered to be an guest area.

Before lunch we were given a tour of the Basement (teen area) and the Camp at Sea (children area). I felt that the teen area was a bit too masculine (video game focused). The Camp at Sea seemed to be quite small and the maximum number of children was even smaller due to COVID restrictions. I am sure this has caused a significant strain on parents who had hoped to get a relaxing vacation with some free time without their children.

For lunch I decided to just go to the buffet again. There were quite a few choices – fish and chips, roast beef, beef short ribs (the short ribs were the best) and I also got French fries, macaroni salad, chicken salad and mac and cheese.

I took a picture of some of the fancy cakes and the chocolate shawarma.

Now it was time for show time – I went to the Martini bar for the Martini tasting which consisted of 6 different Martinis. I got some video of the Martinis being poured – 12 of them at once. I actually enjoyed quite a few of the Martinis which surprised me.

After the Martini tasting I went to the Escape Room. Ok, so they can’t actually lock you in a room (unless you are bad, then they put you in the brig), but they had a bunch of wooden boxes that needed to be unlocked and some other puzzles. My group got the boxes unlocked, but missed out on winning the challenge.

I took a picture of the Holland American Line ship racing us to port.

The water couldn’t be too deep as there were some fixed leg oil platforms in the area.

For dinner I went to Cyprus main dining room again.
For my starter I had the beef carpaccio and the lobster ravioli.

This time I tried some of their exclusives – the lamb kofta and chicken souvlaki.

For dessert I had the Giaourti Me Meli and exotic fruit sorbet.

I made a decision not to finish packing and to just take my luggage off in the morning because they wanted us to have the luggage out by 10PM. Instead of worrying about packing I went to the silent disco which was in the center of the ship. Once again they had 3 DJ’s playing music and everyone had a great time.

Before calling it a night I went up and got a final slice of pizza.
