This morning I woke up earlier than I wished, but I didn’t want to upset my internal clock.
I started the day getting some rays and soaking in the very hot hot tub on the back of the ship.
The weather was perfect and it was a great view being surrounded by the ocean.
I had lunch on Lido – I finally tried the Carolina pulled pork sandwich with a side of bacon cheese fries. The pulled pork was acceptable, but not spectacular. I also grabbed a slice of 4 cheese pizza.

I briefly watched the egg drop compeition which was great fun. One guy even designed a lunar lander with a parachute – and it worked. No chance he built it on the ship, I am sure he packed it with him.

I then went to the presentation on Yokohama which I already knew 90% of the things to do. The ship will be in port for a long time tomorrow, so I may venture into Tokyo although I have already seen everything there (except SkyTree & Tokyo Tower).

I cashed out $1400 in the casino (I lost about $20 total) from the Princess gift cards I bought at a 10% discount on the AARP website (+$140 if you haven’t done the math).
I enjoyed a few drinks at the elite event in Skywalker’s lounge as usual and actually met an English speaking person from Montreal.
I went to the show at 7PM before eating at Sabatini’s at 8PM.

As you can see normally Sabatini’s is $35 additional, but as I had the Princess Premier package it was included. The first item of the very long list of food was the Arancini al Tartufo and a glass of Prosecco.

Even the bread is fancier. I was going to skip the bread, but couldn’t resist.

Next was the Chef’s Version Panzanella (prawns).

Next was the Ribolita soup.

Then came what they called carbonara. Linguini alla Carbonara, but they used the wrong meat. They used pancetta instead of Guanciale, oh and you can probably also tell they drowned it in some sauce as well.

Finally the Ossobuco Milanese. I tried it, but was not very impressed.

Oh wait, don’t forget dessert… Totally too much food at this point. I ordered the Rocher which was good.

Luckily I get to stay in the same stateroom for the next cruise, so no need to pack tonight. I only needed to prepare for the next day of exploring Yokohama.
