I woke up at a reasonable time this morning.
Today’s onboard activities:

First activity of the day was a presentation on the next port of call – Busan, South Korea. The presenter gives information on places to visit that may or may not be included in the ship’s tours as well as some information on how to get around. The ship tour I was interested in was cancelled, and up to this point I have been good getting around by myself, so I’m not too worried.

I decided to try and visit the temple along the coast and the Gamcheon cultural village.
The next presenter gave some history on South Korea, but it wasn’t all that interesting.
After that I went to find some food. The line for the grill was very long, so I went inside and got a bowl of Ramen. I would have eaten more, but I was distracted by the premium dessert (fancy ice cream sundae) which is included in my Premier package.

I ordered the Godfather ice cream sundae, it was pretty good, but needed more syrup on it. I will try a different one next time. Because I had the Princess Premier package I didn’t need to pay $12 for the ice cream.

It was back to the theater to see the port presentation on Nagasaki. I would be visiting Nagasaki twice on this trip, so it is useful information. Probably the most useful part is knowing where the ship will dock.

I was impressed as the port presenter even mentioned the museum that used to be a Dutch trading post.
I spent some time multitasking – drinking colortinis and editing videos.
I had dinner tonight at Sterling Steakhouse, one of the specialty dining options. Normally I don’t eat at the specialty restaurants, but the Princess Premier package included two per cruise.

After the delicious mozzarella bread I ordered the black tiger prawn for a starter and the black and blue onion soup.

The prawns were good, but for the life of me I don’t understand why people have to mess with French Onion soup. The cheese (at least there was cheese – yes I am looking at you NCL with your ‘cheese flavored crouton’) was not gooey at all. It should have been like the cheese on the bread.
For my main I ordered the Porterhouse. Normally I prefer the Filet Mignon, but the Porterhouse has the tenderloin section as well and the bone which adds flavor. I also ordered a baked potato and fries for my sides.

For dessert I tried the raspberry creme brulee.

Tomorrow was going to be a busy day in Busan, South Korea so I called it a night and got ready for the next day.
