It’s finally less than 24 hours before my next adventure starts.
I checked in for my flight as early as possible. In fact I was the 7th person to check in for UA flight #7. I strategically picked an aisle seat next to an open seat.
I went through and put in all the information for the Visit Japan website, including uploading my vaccination certificate three times. It would have been nice to have the ability to reuse the card I uploaded just five minutes earlier.
I managed to pack everything I needed in a carry-on size roller bag. This is the lightest I’ve ever traveled on any trip.
Late at night while I was still packing I got the notice that I could upload my COVID test to the Princess app. Fifteen minutes later I found out I still don’t have COVID. When I attempted to upload the results the app gave me an error because it was too early. After changing the time zone on my phone to Japan it was fixed.
I downloaded my luggage tags from the Princess website.
