The first sea day on the cruise. What should have been a relaxing day was full of activities.


I started the day with breakfast from the buffet. They had some fancy croissants that looked better than they tasted.



The weather was a bit depressing today.

I walked by the fruit carving demonstration.

I went back to the room to do more research on what to do tomorrow and ordered lunch from the app. Chicken salad sandwich, chips, and cheese fries.

In the afternoon I went to the destination presentation for Aomori and Hakodate. It was nice to see information about the places the ship will visit that don’t require booking an excursion. The presenter did a lot of work to compile many different options for the ports that would interest many different people.








I went to the learn Japanese lesson. It was very limited.

I had dinner in the main dining room again. This time I had the beef tenderloin.



And of course dessert….



Time to get ready for an early arrival in Aomori so I can catch the early train.
