This morning my first task of the day was to wake up and reserve tickets for the Pearl Harbor tour. I already made reservations, but it was at 2 pm, ending at 3:15 pm which would make it difficult to reach the ship on time. Luckily I was able to get 2 tickets for 11 am.
I went to the pillbox hike near Lanikai beach. I’ve done the hike before and it was one of my favorite things on O’ahu. The pillboxes are spray painted and the view along the hike and at the pillboxes are great. I highly recommend it. Parking is scarce and you’ll be hiking to the trailhead.
After the hike I went snorkeling at Lanikai beach. There was a large reef very close to the beach and a few fish.
For lunch I ate at Maui Mike’s… I was a bit too hungry to remember to take a photo before eating, but it was good.
I drove to Na’Pali lookout, but it was closed. I managed to get a few photos at other lookouts.
I watched the sunset at the beach at the resort.
I decided to go back to the Plantation Tavern for dinner rather than be robbed at the resort… A steak at the resort was $46. I was too hungry to take a photo, but had the miso salmon and Poke Nachos again.
