This morning I took the historical Charles Street streetcar to the National World War II museum. It was quite larger than I expected and the museum was very good. It didn’t look like a library, they did a lot of work to make the rooms look realistic. I apparently only took photos inside the hangar.
They also had an entire building just for airplanes, and even had a catwalk so you could see the airplanes from multiple angles.
I tried to visit one of the cemeteries, but it was closed in the afternoon…I got a couple of photos at and through the gate. I’m not sure I would find anything more interesting by just wandering around if it was open.
The area around the cemetery in the garden district was nice.
