Registered to Sail on the Disney Magic
Set sail with me on January 21st, 2026, for my maiden voyage on Disney Cruise Line from Galveston! With two sea days and plenty of fun excursions at Progreso, Mexico, I’ll likely pass on the two-hour bus ride to Chichen Itza. Why not soak in the ship instead?
2025 Live Loud Fest on the Norwegian Jewel – Day 5 [Disembarkation in Miami, Florida]
So, I skipped the luggage tag since I only had a carry-on. Got off the ship super quick, grabbed cereal from the buffet, and ordered an Uber to the airport, which was cheaper than transfers. Security was a breeze, switched seats on the plane sneakily, and finally, left the parking lot around 11:30 AM.
2025 Live Loud Fest on the Norwegian Jewel – Day 4 [Concert at Sea]
After an adventurous day, I enjoyed a chill sea day, grabbing lunch at the buffet. Checked out the bridge observation lounge, saw ships on the charts, and relaxed by the pool. Dinner at Moderno was a flop, but I got a surprise bottle of wine afterward. Signed off early for a flight tomorrow.

2023 Alaskan Cruise – Day 16 [Disembarkation in Vancouver and Flight to Houston]
Disembarkation day in Vancouver. I spent about a whole hour in Canada since I cleared US immigration at the airport.
2023 Alaskan Cruise – Day 15 [Cruising the Inside Passage]
Time to enjoy the last day on the ship while cruising the scenic Inside Passage – and watching whales, well at least one whale.
2023 Alaskan Cruise – Day 14 [Ketchikan, Alaska]
A short visit to Ketchikan Alaska and the northern lights at sea at night.
2023 Alaskan Cruise – Day 13 [Skagway, Alaska]
Chasing rainbows in Skagway, Alaska. Well didn’t need to chase too hard, they just appeared. And a bear as well.
2023 Alaskan Cruise – Day 12 [Tracy Arm, Sawyer Glacier and Juneau, Alaska]
A spectacular day cruising the breathtaking Tracy Arm Fjord. It couldn’t get much better with large chunks of ice floating, turquoise water and wispy clouds clinging to the side of the fjord. Oh and we also visited Juneau, the capital of Alaska.
