Time to go back to reality – or at least the states. Planes, trains and automobiles is what today is about, but not in that order.
Last day in London. I decided to visit some new places today, the Natural History Museum and the Olympic Park
A very full day in London including a visit to the British Museum and Westminster.
More trouble in paradise, this time it was a lengthy delay in getting off the ship. However the day went mostly as planned with a visit to Canterbury, Leeds Castle and finally ending in London.
Finally a sea day to recover from a very port intensive cruise.
And Baked Alaska makes everything better.
Trouble in Paradise. An improvised day after things don’t go as planned.
Leprechaun huntin’ time. And I visited the home of Q-bert, otherwise known as the Giant’s Causeway.
A quick visit to the Hebrides Islands in Scotland.
A chance to rest up after 4 long days exploring Iceland.
The last day in Iceland. I decided today was the day for exercise. I went for a hike halfway up a mountain to see the Hengifoss waterfall.
Another day of exploring the amazing country of Iceland. Yes, there was a waterfall on the itinerary (and plenty that we passed by as well).
A day tour of the best of Snaefellsnes Peninsula. The tour took us around to a lot of interesting areas, including a sea arch and basalt rocks that remind me of the Giants’ Causeway.
A breathtaking day in Reykjavik, Iceland and the Golden Circle.
Another relaxing Day at Sea
A relaxing Day at Sea
Dover Museum and Embarkation Day for the cruise
A very long day. It started with a flight at 2 AM, included two flights, a tube ride, a train ride and about 11 miles of walking (mostly along the white cliffs of Dover).
